# What's Actually Known > Independent tracker of what peptide compounds are actually being tested for in > registered human clinical trials, versus what they are marketed for. All data > is mirrored from ClinicalTrials.gov. We sell nothing, take no advertising, and > accept no money from sellers or clinics. What's Actually Known counts registered interventional human studies for each compound and publishes that count next to the claims made by sellers. We do not grade evidence, recommend treatments, or give dosing advice — we report what is on the public record and link to it. Last checked against ClinicalTrials.gov: 2026-07-27 ## Method - Source: ClinicalTrials.gov public API - Counted: interventional human studies only (observational studies are not evidence of effect and would inflate every number) - Not counted: animal studies, in-vitro work, unregistered research - No medical judgment is applied. There is no grade, score, or rating. - This is automated aggregation. No physician has reviewed these pages. ## About this project An independent research project. Not affiliated with any seller, clinic, pharmacy, supplement company, or research institution. Editorial position: this project reports what is registered and does not evaluate evidence. There is no grade, score, or rating anywhere on the site. Counting registered trials is a factual operation that can be independently verified; judging whether evidence is good is a clinical judgment, and no physician reviews these pages. That limit is disclosed on every compound page. Maintenance: a scheduled job mirrors the ClinicalTrials.gov public API and regenerates affected pages. Counts are recomputed from stored records rather than edited. Every page carries the date its data was last checked. Manual review covers search terms, which are the known failure mode. Example: TB-500 initially matched 18 trials because the query also caught "Thymosin Beta-4" — the full protein, a different molecule from the fragment sold as TB-500. Publishing that count would have overstated its human evidence eighteenfold. The query was narrowed and the mis-attributed trials removed.
